Ask employees for referrals
Ask Employees for Referrals
One of the most powerful resources recruiters have for high quality prospects is your employees. With Jobster, you can easily tap into your employees' networks by asking them to refer great prospects directly to you.
Here's how!
Get prepared.
- Coordinate with your company's ERP manager or Human Resources department to ensure that employee referrals made through Jobster are rewarded.
- Identify the teams and organizations in your company with skill sets you are targeting.
- Meet with your hiring managers and encourage them to participate in your Jobster campaigns by passing your message on to their employees.
- Find an executive sponsor (a company leader who is listened to and respected) to send the message requesting referrals. Some employees are more receptive to referral requests from executives than messages sent by recruiters.

- Set up a reminder message for employees.
- Create links to post on intranet websites and internal newsletters catering to the skill sets you are targeting.
- Track your results to see how your employee referral initiative performs.
