Jobster Launches Sourcing Tools 2007, Summer Edition

Customers can now search a database of 35 million passive candidates and then refine the search through multiple public sources in one interface.

SEATTLE – June 11, 2007 —Jobster, Inc. today announced the release of Jobster Sourcing Tools 2007, Summer Edition. Scaleable from the individual sourcer all the way up to enterprise customers, Jobster Sourcing Tools help recruiting teams build referral networks, search for passive candidates, manage candidate relationships and maintain a pipeline of high quality talent. The latest release includes improved access to a database of 35 million passive candidates.

“We spent the last six months gathering input from thousands of users of Jobster’s Sourcing Tools and their invaluable feedback formed the core of this new release,” said Jobster Senior Vice President of Sales and Service Kevin Hatfield. “The number one request made by our clients was for help to better locate passive candidates. Our latest release gives sourcers the information and tools they need to focus their efforts on the workplace superstars.”

In addition to being able to search for 35 million passive candidates by title, company and location; employers can now search by industry, refined locations, and filter based on when the contact was last updated. This helps sourcers target their searches to only the most relevant prospects, saving time and increasing efficiency.

With this release, Jobster customers can refine searches from within the Jobster user interface using information from Google, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo, helping recruiters to get a full picture of their potential candidate.

“One of the biggest challenges with maintaining a passive client database of 35 million people is ensuring all of the information on all the contacts is accurate and up to date at all times,” said Jobster CTO Phil Bogle. “By giving employers inline tools to help them research and further refine information about contacts prior to contacting them, we have taken a significant step in our ongoing effort toward improved passive candidate engagement. We have already begun work on the next step, which will help our clients further refine passive candidate searches by incorporating CRM and additional web resources.

For those interested in testing out the Jobster Sourcing Tools 2007, Summer Edition, Jobster has created a seven-day trial (http://www.jobster.com/freetrial) as well as a limited number of introductory seats priced at $295 per seat per month.
